Paint
The hull received numerous coats of AWLGRIP epoxy primer base, followed
by four coats of AWLGRIP polyester urethane topcoat, semi-gloss Stark White
for the fore deck and topsides, gloss Claret for the bottom.
The bilge and interior behind the teak received numerous coats of AWLGRIP
epoxy primer base, followed by two coats of AWLGRIP polyester urethane
topcoat.
Brightwork
The Burmese teak was finished using Smiths CPES as a priming first coat
(2 – 3 coats were applied), followed with three coats of AWLSPAR Varnish and
10 coats of AWL-BRITE PLUS Clear Urethane. The brightwork in the cabin was
finished in semi-gloss.
Hardware
All original hardware was re-chromed using a triple coat chrome process.
A new stainless cutwater was fabricated with integrated bow-eye for
trailering ease.
