YNOT Yachts has
completed the restoration of a 1983 Formula 233 LS.
While 1983 was the final year of production of this
legendary hull, it was Don Aronow's first race boat and
the boat that started Formula Boat Company.
The 233 was
designed by Jim Wynne and Walt Waters and won the Miami
Nassau race in 1962. Following the Miami Nassau
race in 1962, the 233 went on to win a number of
offshore races while Don Aronow went on to start Donzi,
Cigarette, Magnum and USA Racing.
